Role Description The Assistant Manager R&D; role is a full-time, on-site position based in Coimbatore. The role involves leading and supporting research and development projects focused on drilling equipment and related technologies, including concept generation, design improvements, and performance optimization. Responsibilities include coordinating R&D; activities, planning project timelines, monitoring progress, and ensuring technical documentation is accurate and up to date. The Assistant Manager R&D; will collaborate with cross-functional teams such as engineering, production, quality,



and supply chain to validate prototypes, address technical issues, and support product launches. The role also involves guiding team members, promoting innovation, and ensuring compliance with relevant industry standards and safety requirements. Qualifications
• Candidates should possess strong Research and Development (R&D;) and Research skills for product innovation and performance improvement.
• Candidates should possess Team Management and Team Leadership skills to guide, mentor, and coordinate R&D; team members.
• Candidates should possess Project Management skills to plan, execute, and monitor R&D; projects within defined timelines and budgets.
• Relevant engineering degree (Mechanical, Mining, Production, or related field) from an accredited institution.
• Experience in heavy machinery, mining equipment, or industrial product development is highly beneficial.
• Proficiency in technical documentation, data analysis, and use of engineering tools or CAD software is an advantage.
• Strong problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and capability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
• Positive written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present technical information clearly.
