About Hoplid Hoplid is building a social dining and food discovery platform that brings people, food, restaurants, and experiences together through technology. We are looking for a technically versatile and highly driven individual who can become the backbone of our technology team — someone who understands the bigger picture, connects different engineering domains, and ensures that everything works together seamlessly. Your Role We aren't looking for someone who only writes code or manages individual developers. We need someone who can connect the entire technology ecosystem — from frontend to backend, APIs to databases, DevOps to cloud infrastructure, and AI to intelligent systems. You will work closely with the founding team, coordinate across engineering functions, identify technical gaps, solve integration challenges, and turn ideas into scalable, reliable products. What You'll Own 1. Full-Stack Engineering
- Understand and coordinate frontend and backend development.
- Ensure seamless communication between frontend, backend, and APIs.
- Review architecture, integrations, and code quality.
- Help developers resolve technical dependencies. 2. Backend & System Architecture
- Understand API design, database architecture, authentication, and server-side systems.
- Ensure different services communicate efficiently.
- Identify bottlenecks and improve system performance. 3. DevOps & Cloud Infrastructure
- Understand deployment pipelines, CI/CD, server management, and infrastructure.
- Coordinate cloud environments, monitoring, scaling, and reliability.
- Ensure smooth development-to-production workflows. 4. AI & Intelligent Systems
- Understand AI/ML integrations, LLM APIs, recommendation systems, and intelligent automation.
- Coordinate AI integration with backend and frontend systems.




- Help translate AI capabilities into practical product features. 5. Technical Leadership & Team Coordination
- Connect developers across different technical domains.
- Take ownership of technical execution and delivery.
- Identify dependencies before they become blockers.
- Communicate technical requirements clearly.

- Strong understanding of software engineering and system architecture.
- Experience or working knowledge of frontend and backend development.

- Ability to understand how different technologies work together.
