Role Description The Professor of Computer Science will be responsible for designing and delivering high-quality undergraduate and postgraduate courses, ensuring that curricula remain current, rigorous, and aligned with industry and research developments. Day-to-day tasks include preparing and teaching lectures and labs, mentoring and advising students, supervising projects and theses, and conducting impactful research in relevant areas of computer science.



The role involves contributing to curriculum enhancement, participating in academic committees, engaging in outreach and collaboration with industry partners, and supporting departmental and university initiatives. This is a full-time, on-site position based in the Greater Kolkata Area, requiring regular presence on campus for teaching, student interaction, and collegial engagement. Qualifications
• Strong foundation in core Computer Science concepts and emerging technologies.
• Expertise in Curriculum Development and academic program design.
• Demonstrated knowledge and research experience in Data Science and related fields.
• Proficiency in Cybersecurity principles, practices, and contemporary frameworks.
• Advanced Programming skills in modern languages and development environments.
• Earned PhD in Computer Science or a closely related discipline from a recognized institution.
• Evidence of scholarly research, publications in peer-reviewed venues, and ongoing academic engagement.
• Prior university-level teaching experience and effectiveness in diverse classroom settings.
• Ability to mentor students, supervise research, and foster an inclusive learning environment.
