Role Description We are looking for a detail-oriented and technically sound Estimation Engineer to join our team in Vadodara. The candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates, Bills of Quantities (BOQs) and quantity take-offs for industrial civil and structural engineering projects. The role involves reviewing engineering drawings and specifications, calculating quantities, analysing material and labour costs, collecting market rates and supporting tendering and bidding activities. The candidate will also coordinate with design, project and procurement teams to ensure accurate estimation, cost control and timely submission of project proposals.

Key Responsibilities
• Prepare detailed BOQs and cost estimates for civil and structural engineering works.
• Study and interpret civil and structural drawings, specifications and project documents.
• Carry out quantity take-offs for RCC, steel structures, foundations, industrial buildings and other civil works.
• Analyse material, labour, equipment and subcontractor costs.
• Collect and validate current market rates for construction materials and services.
• Prepare rate analysis,



comparative statements and estimation reports.
• Support tender preparation, bid submissions and project costing activities.
• Coordinate with design, project and procurement teams for technical and commercial inputs.
• Communicate with vendors and contractors for quotations, rate verification and commercial discussions.
• Maintain estimation records and ensure accuracy within project deadlines. Qualifications & Skills

Tech in Civil Engineering (preferred).
• Minimum 2+ years of relevant experience in estimation, quantity surveying or BOQ preparation.
• Good understanding of civil and structural engineering drawings and specifications.
• Practical knowledge of BOQ preparation, quantity take-offs and cost estimation.
• Understanding of RCC works, steel structures, foundations and industrial civil works.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and working knowledge of AutoCAD.
• Knowledge of estimation software and rate analysis will be an added advantage.
• Good analytical, communication and coordination skills.
• Ability to manage multiple assignments and meet project deadlines.
