Role Description This is a full-time remote role focused on teaching English and Math aligned with the US curriculum to K12 students through online one-on-one sessions. The educator will plan and deliver engaging lessons, assess student progress, and adapt instructional strategies to meet individual learning needs. Responsibilities include creating and updating lesson materials, assigning and reviewing practice work, and providing transparent, constructive feedback to learners and guardians. The role also involves maintaining accurate records, using online tools and platforms effectively,



and collaborating with WONK’s support team to ensure a smooth learning experience. Educators are expected to uphold high academic standards, follow curriculum guidelines, and contribute to a positive, inclusive learning environment. Qualifications
• Proficiency in English Teaching, with strong command of the US K12 curriculum and the ability to teach both English and Math effectively.
• Excellent Communication and Customer Service skills to engage students and interact professionally with parents and the WONK team.
• Ability to provide Training and academic support, including individualized instruction, remediation, and enrichment activities.
• Translation or language support skills are beneficial for working with multilingual learners or families.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Education, English, Mathematics, or a related field; teaching certification aligned with K12 standards is an advantage.
• Prior experience in online tutoring or classroom teaching, especially with US-based curricula, is preferred.
• Comfort with digital tools, learning platforms, and basic troubleshooting in an online environment.
• Reliable internet connection, suitable hardware, and the ability to work independently in a remote setting.
