Founding GTM hire. Full-time. On-site in Gurugram or Bangalore.
Experience:
3 to 6 years. Reports to: the founders. Compensation: competitive fixed pay, performance-linked variable, and equity for the right candidate. Search is changing. Most brands cannot see it yet. When a buyer asks ChatGPT, Gemini or Perplexity "what is the best option for me?", there is no page two. A brand is either in the answer or it is not, and most brands have no idea which. Branly.ai, the first product from BrightSense, shows brands exactly where they appear in AI answers, how they stack up against competitors, which sources shape those answers, and what to do to win. We are already working with pilot customers, and we are building beyond measurement towards intelligent, human-approved marketing execution, so lean marketing teams can achieve world-class outcomes. Why this role is different You will be our first dedicated revenue hire. There is no inherited playbook, no layers of approval and no territory map handed to you. You will sell into a category that is being defined right now, sit in the room where pricing, positioning and roadmap decisions are made, and build the engine every future seller at Branly will run on. We call it Entrepreneur in Residence for a reason: we want someone who thinks like a founder. You own the number, and the system behind it. What is in it for you
• Founder-level access. Work side by side with the founding team every day. Your buyer insights directly shape the product.
• A category to define. AI visibility is becoming a new marketing budget line. You will help write how it is bought and sold.
• A real path up. Strong performance leads to broader growth and revenue leadership, including building the team that follows you.
• Upside that matches ownership. Competitive fixed pay, performance-linked variable, and equity for the right candidate.
• Licence to build AI-native. Use Claude, ChatGPT, Clay, n8n and more to build your own agents and workflows. Here, that is the job, not a side project. What you will do 1. Win customers, end to end
• Find and qualify high-potential brands, and open conversations with founders,
promoters, CMOs and marketing heads through sharp outbound and referrals.
• Run the full cycle: research, discovery, demos, business cases, proposals, negotiation, closing and a clean handoff.
• Turn a brand's AI visibility data into a commercial story its leadership cannot ignore, with clear use cases, ROI logic and confident objection handling.
• Own your pipeline, forecast and conversion metrics, and open agency and ecosystem partnerships that multiply reach. 2. Build an AI-native prospecting engine
• Design repeatable workflows for lead sourcing, enrichment, scoring, personalised outreach and follow-up.
• Spot buying signals early (hiring, funding, ad activity, competitive gaps, brand launches) and prioritise by fit and intent.
• Measure what matters: quality of conversations and revenue, not outreach volume. Keep outreach responsible, compliant and well documented. 3. Shape how Branly goes to market
• Run fast experiments on segments, messaging, pricing and channels, and turn what works into playbooks.
• Pilot product-led motions: AI visibility audits, tailored reports, trials and demo-to-activation journeys.
• Be the voice of the buyer for product and engineering: onboarding, positioning and roadmap priorities. Your first 90 days
• Days 1 to 30: Learn the product and market inside out. Define ideal customer profiles, launch targeted outreach, run your first discovery calls and demos, and build a qualified pipeline.
• By day 60: Own live opportunities and proposals. Have AI-assisted prospecting and CRM workflows running. Sharpen messaging using real objections and conversion data.
• By day 90: Help bring in current paying customers, with a credible,
measurable pipeline and a prospecting-to-close process others could follow. You will thrive here if you have
• 3 to 6 years in B2B SaaS sales, business development or early-stage growth, with deals you personally progressed and closed.
• Excellent written and spoken communication, and the confidence to run discovery, demos and negotiations with senior decision-makers.
• Sharp commercial judgement, high ownership and comfort making good calls with incomplete information.
• Hands-on fluency with CRM, modern AI tools and sales automation, and the curiosity to learn a technical marketing product quickly. Bonus points
• You have sold MarTech, AdTech, SEO/AEO, analytics or AI products, especially to marketing leaders.
• You have built an outbound engine, automation workflow, side project or business from scratch.
• You have worked with product-led growth, self-serve funnels or partnerships. This probably is not for you if
• You want a defined territory, a large SDR team and a mature playbook from day one.
• You judge a good week by activity counts rather than revenue moved.
• You would rather wait for direction than take a smart swing and learn from it. How we work BrightSense runs on five values. Here is what they look like in this role:
• Customer First: listen deeply to buyers before pitching.
• Signal Over Noise: chase real revenue signals, not vanity metrics.
• Bias for Action: ship the experiment today, refine it tomorrow.
• Relentless Reinvention: use AI creatively to rebuild how selling gets done.
• Win Together: partner closely with product, the founders and our customers.
How to apply
Apply here on LinkedIn, or send your resume to
[email protected] with a short note answering three questions. Skip the generic cover letter. These answers tell us more than any resume:
• A SaaS deal you personally helped close, and what made it close.
• An AI or automation workflow you built or used to drive growth.
• How you would win Branly's first five customers from this role. Branly.ai. Be seen. Be chosen.
