Role Description The Computer Hardware Technician will be responsible for the installation, configuration, and maintenance of desktop computers and peripherals in the Greater Kolkata Area. This full-time, in office role involves diagnosing hardware issues, performing repairs or replacements, and ensuring minimal downtime for end users. Daily activities include routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and responding to support requests for computers, printers, and related hardware. The technician will document issues and resolutions,



maintain inventory of hardware components, and collaborate with other technical staff to support overall IT operations. The role also involves providing clear, user-friendly guidance to non-technical staff and adhering to company standards for safety, security, and data protection. Qualifications
• Strong skills in Desktop Computers and Computer Maintenance for installation, configuration, and routine hardware care.
• Proficiency in Troubleshooting and Hardware Support to diagnose, repair, and replace faulty components efficiently.
• Experience with Printer Support, including setup, maintenance, and resolving common printer-related issues.
• Basic knowledge of operating systems and common productivity software to verify hardware functionality.
• Ability to communicate clearly with non-technical users and provide patient, practical guidance.
• Attention to detail, organized work habits, and the ability to prioritize multiple support requests.
• Experience in an on-site technical support or field service role is preferred.
