Role Description The Melting role is a full time, on-site position based at the Rajkot facility. The role involves operating and monitoring melting furnaces, preparing charge materials, and ensuring alloys are melted according to specified temperatures, compositions, and safety procedures. Responsibilities include checking raw materials, recording process parameters, coordinating with quality control to perform sample testing, and adjusting melting conditions to meet production and quality targets. The role also requires routine equipment checks, basic maintenance support,



adherence to safety and environmental guidelines, and close collaboration with casting and molding teams to maintain smooth production flow. Qualifications
• Experience working with melting furnaces, induction or electric arc furnaces, and handling molten metal safely.
• Knowledge of basic metallurgy, alloy compositions, and process parameters relevant to casting operations.
• Ability to read and follow production instructions, process sheets, and basic technical drawings.
• Familiarity with industrial safety practices, use of PPE, and safe material handling procedures.
• Attention to detail, strong observation skills, and ability to record process data accurately.
• Physical ability to work in a hot, heavy industrial environment and perform manual tasks as required.
• Prior experience in foundry, casting, or metal processing industries is preferred.
• Minimum of a relevant technical diploma or vocational training in mechanical, metallurgical, or production trades is beneficial.
