SAP ABAP Developer with strong SAP HR/HCM Position: Senior SAP ABAP Consultant

Chennai, Hyderabad, Bangalore, Mumbai, Pune, Noida & Kolkata Employment Type: Full-Time Notice Period: Immediate to 60 days We are looking for an experienced SAP ABAP Developer with strong SAP HR/HCM expertise, having 10–15 years of SAP experience. The candidate should have extensive hands-on experience in developing, enhancing, and supporting SAP HCM solutions and HR-related integrations.

Key Responsibilities
• Design, develop, enhance, and support SAP ABAP solutions within the HR/HCM landscape.
• Strong experience in ABAP, ABAP OO, Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Forms, BAPIs/BADIs, RFCs, IDocs, and Web Services.
• Hands-on experience with SAP HCM/HR modules, including HR master data, organizational management, time management, and payroll-related developments.
• Strong knowledge of HR Infotypes, logical databases, HR function modules, payroll/time clusters, and HR-specific enhancements.
• Develop and support integrations between SAP HCM and external/third-party HR systems.
• Perform technical analysis, debugging, performance optimization,



defect resolution, and root-cause analysis.
• Work closely with functional consultants and business stakeholders to translate HR requirements into robust technical solutions.
• Support testing, upgrades, migrations, production deployments, and post-go-live/hypercare activities.
• Prepare and review technical specifications, code, test evidence, and other technical documentation.
• Mentor junior developers and ensure adherence to SAP development standards and coding best practices. Experience & Skills
• 10–15 years of SAP ABAP experience, with significant experience in SAP HR/HCM.
• Solid debugging and troubleshooting skills in complex HR scenarios.
• Experience with S/4HANA / HANA-ready ABAP, CDS Views, OData, or modern ABAP development would be an advantage.
• Good communication skills and ability to work directly with functional teams, business users, and customer stakeholders. Preferred Profile: Senior hands-on technical resource who can independently analyze requirements/issues, propose solutions, develop and troubleshoot complex SAP HR/HCM developments.
