Role Overview We are looking for an experienced Senior Structural Engineer to lead structural design reviews, technical assessments and multidisciplinary coordination across a diverse portfolio of architectural projects, including institutional, commercial, residential, industrial and high-rise developments. The candidate will be responsible for reviewing and scrutinising structural designs, calculations and drawings prepared by external structural consultants, ensuring technical adequacy, code compliance, design quality and seamless integration with architectural and other engineering disciplines.

Key Responsibilities
• Prepare and maintain a Structured Schedule of Deliverables (Structural Design & Construction Documentation Matrix) for the appointed Structural Consultant, covering all critical structural drawings, calculations, specifications and construction details. Align the schedule with the overall project construction programme to ensure timely review, coordination, approval and release of structural information well ahead of the corresponding construction activities, avoiding delays to construction due to pending design information or consultant approvals.
• Independently review and scrutinise structural design calculations, analysis reports, design basis reports and drawings prepared by external structural consultants at concept, schematic, design development, tender and GFC stages.
• Evaluate RCC, structural steel, composite, post-tensioned and prestressed concrete systems, including foundations, basements, retaining structures, transfer structures and long-span systems.




• Verify structural design compliance with applicable IS codes, NBC and relevant statutory requirements, including seismic and wind load considerations.
• Identify design discrepancies, structural inadequacies, constructability issues and coordination conflicts; provide technical observations and recommendations for resolution.
• Coordinate with architectural, MEPF, façade, interior, landscape and other specialist consultants to resolve multidisciplinary design interfaces, including service openings, shafts, equipment loads, vibration requirements and façade supports.
• Undertake structural analysis and design using STAAD.
Pro, ETABS, SAFE or equivalent software, wherever required, to independently validate design proposals and assess alternative structural solutions.
• Review and coordinate structural drawings, BOQs, technical specifications and tender documentation, ensuring consistency between design calculations, drawings and specifications.
• Review and evaluate vendor and contractor submissions, including structural shop drawings, design calculations, fabrication drawings, material submittals and construction methodologies.
• Lead technical discussions with external structural consultants, track design review comments and ensure timely closure of technical observations and pending deliverables.
• Undertake periodic site visits and inspections across project locations to assess compliance of structural works with approved drawings, specifications and design intent. Identify deviations and coordinate corrective actions with the concerned consultants and project teams.
• Provide technical support during construction,



including assessment of proposed design modifications, value engineering proposals and resolution of site-related structural queries. Qualifications & Experience

E./M.
Tech in Structural Engineering preferred.
• 12–15 years of relevant experience in structural design, engineering consultancy and/or design review.
• Experience in handling complex and large-scale projects across institutional, commercial, residential, industrial and high-rise building typologies.
• Strong hands-on experience in structural analysis and design using STAAD.
Pro, ETABS, SAFE or equivalent software, with the ability to interpret and validate analysis outputs.
• Experience in preparation and review of structural drawings, BOQs, technical specifications and tender documentation.
• Working knowledge of AutoCAD, Revit Structure and BIM-based coordination.
• Strong knowledge of relevant Indian Standards, including IS 456, IS 875, IS 1893, IS 13920, IS 800, IS 2911 and IS 16700.
• Willingness to travel to various project sites for periodic inspections, technical reviews and coordination meetings. Essential Competencies Strong structural engineering fundamentals, analytical and problem-solving abilities, multidisciplinary coordination skills, attention to detail and excellent communication. The candidate must be capable of independently evaluating and challenging structural proposals from external consultants, identifying technical gaps and ensuring coordinated, safe and buildable structural design solutions. Key Requirement This is primarily an in-house structural design review, technical assurance and coordination role. Prior hands-on structural analysis and design experience is essential. The candidate must have the technical depth and experience to independently review, question and validate structural engineering solutions developed by external consultants, while ensuring design deliverables are aligned with project requirements and construction schedules.
