Role Summary: The Lead Sustainability serves as a key operational compliance partner across Exemplar Luxury Group. Reporting to the Director of Operational Stewardship for ELG, this role works directly with the US-based energy and sustainability team and is responsible for enforcing supply chain traceability standards, ensuring compliance with global social and environmental directives, and driving emissions management across operations. The ideal candidate can balance risk mitigation with robust business enablement. It is a data-centric role with opportunities to build impactful partnerships across the ELG organization and influence with our external partners.

Responsibilities:
● Manage vendor communication and the collection of supply chain data to ensure all documentation meets traceability standards to support regulatory compliance ● Execute the requirements of supply chain audits, gathering necessary internal records and preparing compliance reports for review ● Monitor vendor compliance dashboards,



identifying gaps and initiating direct outreach to partners to rectify compliance gaps ● Manage complex cross-functional data collection and refinement for extended producer responsibility (EPR) compliance reporting requirements ● Manage the response process for chemical compliance (PFAS) inquiries, ensuring that all product documentation is cataloged and accessible for regulatory reviews ● Lead and distribute status reports on incoming ESG regulations, ensuring the team is aware of necessary operational changes ● Manage end-to-end data collection for corporate GHG inventory, collaborating cross-functionally as well as with third parties to ensure accurate calculations and reporting of Scope 1, 2, and 3 emissions ● Conduct rigorous internal data assurance and validation, maintaining an audit-ready documentation trail for all emission sources to support third-party verification and regulatory sustainability disclosures ● Partner with business units across the organization to identify and execute emission reduction projects, translating data insights into actionable decarbonization strategies and energy efficiency improvements. Qualifications:
● BS/BA degree from a recognized institution, preferably in sustainability, environmental science, supply chain management, or business ● 5–7 years of relevant experience in sustainability and/or social responsibility, preferably in retail, manufacturing, or commercial real estate ● Demonstrated capabilities of leading teams and collaborating across the organization ● Proven financial skills to review and submit invoices and related reporting ● Positive written and verbal communication skills in English ● Knowledge of sustainability concepts (GHG emissions, supply chain traceability, human rights, etc.) preferred ● Familiarity with North American legislation and interpretation preferred. ● Experience working with technology or digital business sectors preferred.
