For more information, visit www.odysseytec.com. Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Information Technology Business Development Manager role based in Chennai. The person in this role will identify and pursue new business opportunities for Odyssey’s information security solutions, focusing on key industries and government sectors. Day-to-day responsibilities include prospecting and qualifying leads, conducting client meetings and product demonstrations, preparing proposals, and managing the end-to-end sales cycle. The role involves building and maintaining strong relationships with existing and new accounts,



coordinating with technical and product teams to align solutions with client needs, and tracking market trends to refine go-to-market strategies. The Business Development Manager will also be responsible for meeting revenue targets, reporting on pipeline status, and representing Odyssey at industry events and customer engagements. Qualifications
• Candidates should possess strong Business Development and Recent Business Development skills to drive growth and expand the customer base.
• Candidates should possess solid Information Technology domain understanding, preferably in cybersecurity, digital signatures, or enterprise software.
• Candidates should possess excellent Communication skills, including presentation, negotiation, and stakeholder management.
• Candidates should possess Account Management experience, with the ability to nurture long-term client relationships and ensure customer satisfaction.
• Relevant experience in B2B sales, solution selling, or technology consulting, ideally in information security or SaaS products.
• Ability to analyze customer requirements, translate them into solution offerings, and collaborate effectively with technical teams.
• Strong analytical and planning skills, with proficiency in CRM tools and basic sales reporting.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field; an MBA or equivalent business qualification is an advantage.
