About the Role
We seek an experienced counsellor who can independently lead undergraduate and postgraduate applications to selective universities in the United States and United Kingdom, including Ivy League institutions, other leading US universities, G5 and Russell Group universities. The role combines admission strategy, authentic student profile development, application quality and confident parent counselling.

Key Responsibilities
· Evaluate academics, activities, leadership, research and student competitiveness; create balanced US/UK university shortlists and realistic admission strategies.
· Own Common App, UCAS and university-specific applications, including activity lists, personal statements, supplemental essays, SOPs, CVs and LOR strategy.
· Mentor authentic profile development through academic projects, extracurricular activities, research and internships; coach interviews and application narratives.
· Manage Early Decision/Early Action and UK deadlines, submission requirements, application quality and progress updates.
· Conduct premium student and parent consultations; explain admission selectivity, costs,



financial aid/scholarships and timelines without guaranteeing outcomes.
· Manage assigned cases through decisions; coordinate essay mentors, profile-building and application teams; support conversion of qualified enquiries into paid counselling.
· Maintain CRM records, university trackers, application calendars and timely reporting to the Business Head. Required Qualifications & Experience
· Bachelor’s or Master’s degree; 4–7 years of hands-on premium US/UK university admissions counselling.
· Proven Common App and UCAS experience, with strong command of holistic admission assessment and profile building.
· Excellent English writing, essay-review, mentoring, presentation and parent relationship skills.
· Ability to manage complex applications independently and provide anonymised examples of personally managed selective-university admits. Preferred Experience
· Admission outcomes at Ivy League, Top 30 US, G5, Russel Group or other highly selective universities; US financial aid and UK scholarship familiarity. Performance Measures
· Quality of eligibility assessment, competitive shortlists and authentic essays; timely, accurate submissions.
· Admissions outcomes in context of student profiles; student/parent satisfaction, case ownership, retention and contribution to paid conversions.
