Role Description The Refrigeration Technician role is a full-time, on-site position based in Kanchipuram. The technician will install, inspect, and maintain industrial refrigeration and HVAC systems used in dairy processing and cold storage facilities. Daily responsibilities include performing routine and preventive maintenance, diagnosing and troubleshooting mechanical and electrical issues, and completing repairs to ensure optimal performance and minimal downtime. The role involves monitoring equipment parameters, documenting service activities,



adhering to safety standards, and coordinating with production and maintenance teams to schedule and prioritize work. The technician will also assist in upgrading systems, implementing energy-productive practices, and supporting compliance with company quality and safety guidelines. Qualifications
• Strong skills in preventive maintenance and general maintenance & repair of refrigeration and HVAC equipment.
• Proficiency in troubleshooting mechanical and electrical faults in refrigeration and HVAC systems.
• Basic to intermediate knowledge of electricity, including reading wiring diagrams and working safely with electrical components.
• Hands-on experience with HVAC and industrial refrigeration systems used in food or dairy processing environments.
• Relevant technical diploma or certificate in Refrigeration, HVAC, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent practical experience).
• Ability to read technical manuals, follow standard operating procedures, and maintain accurate maintenance records.
• Awareness of safety practices, including lockout/tagout, PPE use, and safe handling of refrigerants.
• Willingness to work in shifts, respond to breakdowns, and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Experience with ammonia or other industrial refrigerants is an advantage.
