Company Description Mann Deshi Foundation grew out of the Mann Deshi Mahila Sahakari Bank, founded in 1996 to provide rural women with safe, accessible financial services. The Foundation extends this mission by building business skills, improving market access, and offering social support to women entrepreneurs and their communities. Working across Maharashtra, Gujarat, and Karnataka, Mann Deshi aims to reach one million women by 2024 through programs that provide knowledge, capital, and opportunity. Based in Mann Taluka, a drought-prone region of rural Maharashtra, the organization also focuses on water conservation, financial education for young people, and developing sporting potential. Its work is guided by community needs and continuous feedback, with a core commitment to empowering women and transforming lives. Role Description: The Wrestling Coach will design and deliver structured wrestling training programs for youth and community members, focusing on skill development, physical fitness, and discipline. This full-time, on-site role is based in the Mumbai Metropolitan Region and involves conducting daily practice sessions, teaching fundamental and advanced wrestling techniques, and preparing participants for local and regional competitions. The coach will monitor athlete progress, provide individual feedback, and maintain a safe training workplace that supports inclusivity and respect. The role includes collaborating with foundation staff,



engaging with families and the community, and promoting wrestling as a pathway to confidence, leadership, and personal growth. The coach will also help identify talent, organise events or camps, and align sports activities with Mann Deshi’s broader mission of youth development. Qualifications
• Candidates should possess strong Wrestling and Wrestling Coaching skills, with solid technical knowledge of rules, techniques, and conditioning.
• Candidates should possess Coaching and Training skills, including planning sessions, guiding athletes of varying skill levels, and building long-term development programs.
• Candidates should possess effective Communication skills to interact with athletes, parents, and staff, and to provide clear, constructive feedback.
• Prior experience coaching wrestling at the school, club, or community level; experience working with youth or underserved communities is highly beneficial.
• Relevant coaching certifications or sports education qualifications are an advantage; basic first aid or sports safety training is preferred.
• Ability to work on-site in the Mumbai Metropolitan Region, maintain a safe and inclusive training environment, and align with Mann Deshi’s mission of empowerment through sport.
• Must: Wrestling qualification as an athlete at the national level
• Must: Wrestling 1-year NIS diploma
