SITE SUPERVISOR – LUXURY RESIDENTIAL FINISHING & EXECUTION

9:00 AM – 7:00 PM ABOUT THE PROJECT We are developing a premium contemporary luxury residence in Chandigarh, featuring modern architecture, high-quality construction materials, premium interiors, sophisticated finishes and advanced building systems. The project is currently at the finishing and execution stage. We are looking for an experienced, responsible and hands-on Site Supervisor to manage interior execution, coordinate contractors and oversee the remaining external works, ensuring exceptional workmanship, quality control and timely completion. The selected candidate will be responsible for day-to-day site operations and will work closely with the homeowner, architects, interior designers, consultants, vendors and contractors.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Interior Finishing & Execution
* Supervise marble, natural stone, tile and flooring installations.
* Coordinate wooden panelling, veneer, wardrobes, cabinetry and custom furniture.
* Supervise false ceilings, POP, painting, polishing and decorative finishes.
* Coordinate kitchen, bathroom, vanity, doors and hardware installations.
* Ensure accurate measurements, alignment, levels, joints and quality of workmanship.
* Inspect completed work and ensure finishing meets approved designs and specifications.
* Protect completed flooring, furniture and other finished surfaces during subsequent work. 2. Electrical, Plumbing & MEP Coordination
* Coordinate electrical wiring, lighting, switches, sockets and distribution systems.
* Supervise plumbing, drainage and sanitary installations.
* Coordinate HVAC, central air-conditioning and ventilation systems.
* Coordinate home automation, CCTV, networking and security systems.
* Ensure concealed electrical, plumbing and other services are inspected before closing walls, ceilings and flooring.
* Coordinate testing and commissioning of installed systems.
* Ensure all installations follow approved drawings and technical specifications. 3. Windows & External Works
* Coordinate aluminium windows, glass panels and double-glazed installations.
* Check window alignment, sealing, waterproofing and finishing.
* Supervise pending external works, including driveway, boundary wall, external louvres, railings and landscaping.
* Coordinate external drainage and waterproofing.
* Ensure proper installation quality and finishing of external architectural elements.
* Coordinate with specialised vendors and installation teams. 4. Contractor & Site Management
* Manage daily activities of contractors, subcontractors and labour teams.
* Coordinate multiple agencies working simultaneously at the site.




* Allocate daily tasks and monitor manpower and productivity.
* Follow up with contractors to ensure timely completion of assigned work.
* Prepare daily work schedules and monitor execution.
* Identify execution issues and coordinate their resolution.
* Ensure contractors follow approved drawings, specifications and quality standards.
* Maintain proper coordination between all teams working at the property. 5. Material Management
* Check the quality and quantity of incoming materials.
* Coordinate material requirements and deliveries.
* Maintain basic stock and consumption records.
* Ensure proper storage and handling of materials.
* Minimise material wastage, damage and unnecessary expenses.
* Inform management in advance about material requirements and shortages.
* Verify materials against approved samples and specifications. 6. Quality Control & Reporting
* Inspect completed work and ensure adherence to approved drawings, specifications and material samples.
* Identify defects and ensure timely rectification.
* Maintain high standards of workmanship and finishing.
* Prepare daily progress reports with site photographs and videos.
* Maintain records of contractor progress, manpower and pending activities.
* Prepare and follow up on work-completion and snag lists.
* Monitor quality at every stage and ensure defects are corrected before final approval.
* Provide regular updates regarding project progress and potential delays. 7. Project & Homeowner Coordination
* Coordinate with architects, interior designers, consultants, vendors and contractors.
* Prepare daily and weekly work schedules and monitor project timelines.
* Provide regular progress updates to management.
* Attend site meetings and communicate execution requirements.
* Maintain skilled and cooperative communication with all stakeholders.
* Must be comfortable and willing to work directly with the homeowner, including accommodating the homeowner’s regular presence, involvement, feedback and site inspections.
* Ensure instructions and approved changes are communicated properly to the relevant contractors and teams. 8. Site Discipline & Safety
* Maintain site cleanliness, discipline and organisation.
* Ensure workers follow appropriate safety practices.
* Monitor the use of personal protective equipment.
* Protect completed flooring, furniture, glass, fixtures and other finished surfaces from damage.
* Ensure proper storage of tools, equipment and construction materials.




* Maintain a safe and organised working environment throughout the project. QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
* Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering preferred.
* 5–10 years of experience in residential construction and site supervision.
* Previous experience in luxury residential projects and interior finishing preferred.
* Ability to read and understand architectural, interior, electrical and plumbing drawings.
* Practical knowledge of marble, natural stone, tiles, veneer, woodwork and false ceiling execution.
* Experience managing contractors, subcontractors and labour teams.
* Understanding of modern construction materials and finishing techniques.
* Basic knowledge of AutoCAD and MS Excel.
* Good communication, coordination and reporting skills.
* Ability to independently manage day-to-day site activities. PREFERRED EXPERIENCE Candidates with practical experience in the following areas will be given preference:
