Mahim Office Company: Komal Watertech Komal Watertech is looking for an experienced Senior Manager – Proposals & Tendering to lead our proposal engineering and tendering function for industrial water treatment projects. The ideal candidate should have strong technical and commercial experience in preparing proposals for industrial water treatment systems, particularly RO, DM and other high-purity water treatment solutions, with exposure to the energy, power and industrial sectors.

Key Responsibilities
• Lead the preparation and submission of technical and commercial proposals for industrial water treatment projects.
• Handle proposals for Reverse Osmosis (RO), Demineralisation (DM), Water Treatment Plants (WTP), Effluent Treatment Plants (ETP), and other industrial and high-purity water systems.
• Review and analyse technical specifications, RFQs, tender documents and customer requirements.
• Independently manage end-to-end tendering activities, including bid preparation, costing, estimation and timely submission.
• Coordinate with sales, design engineering, procurement and project execution teams to develop technically compliant and commercially competitive proposals.
• Prepare techno-commercial offers, equipment specifications, process descriptions,



technical deviations and compliance statements.
• Evaluate project costs, material requirements, engineering costs and overall project margins.
• Identify technical and commercial risks in tender documents and suggest appropriate solutions.
• Coordinate with customers and consultants for technical clarifications, pre-bid meetings and post-bid discussions.
• Develop and standardise proposal formats, costing tools and tendering processes. Required Qualifications & Experience
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Chemical, Environmental Engineering or a related discipline.
• 8–15 years of relevant experience in proposal engineering and tendering within the industrial water treatment industry.
• Strong hands-on experience in preparing proposals for RO, DM and industrial water treatment systems.
• Experience handling tenders and large techno-commercial bids, particularly in the power, energy, infrastructure and industrial sectors.
• Positive understanding of water treatment processes, equipment sizing, technical specifications and costing.
• Strong commercial acumen and negotiation skills.
• Excellent communication, coordination and team management capabilities.
