Role Overview The Senior IFS Functional Consultant will design, configure, and stabilize the inbound customer demand and EDI processing stream within IFS. The core mission is to automate incoming customer schedules and call-offs from an OEM customer, ensuring accurate order release, cumulative shipment tracking, and automated fulfillment workflows.

Key Responsibilities
• Customer Schedule Setup: Configure IFS Customer Schedules (both Forecast / Delivery Schedules and Just-In-Time / Call-off Schedules). Establish schedule tolerance checks, discrepancy triggers, authorization rules, and automated release policies.
• CUM Management: Configure and reconcile cumulative figures (Cumulative Received vs. Cumulative Shipped Quantities), handle year-end CUM resets, and manage mismatch tolerances.
• Customer Order & Fulfillment Integration: Set up the automation rules that convert incoming schedule lines into executable IFS Customer Orders, pick lists, and shipment dispatches.
• IFS Connect & EDI Architecture: Configure inbound and outbound message routing using IFS Connect (Routing Rules, Routing Addresses, Transformers/XSLT, and Message Queues).
• Message Class Implementation:



Validate and map standard automotive/discrete EDI message classes:
• Inbound Delivery/Call-off Schedules (DELFOR, DELJIT, EDI 830, EDI 862 / CUSDLV)
• Inbound Purchase Orders (ORDERS, EDI 850)
• Outbound ASNs and Invoices (DESADV, EDI 856, INVOIC, EDI 810)
• Queue Monitoring & Troubleshooting: Diagnose message processing failures, schema mismatches, and data validation errors inside IFS Solution Manager / Connect administration. Candidate Requirements
• 5+ years of IFS consulting experience across IFS Applications (App 9/10) or IFS Cloud.
• Proven track record implementing IFS Customer Schedules and Customer Order Management in an automotive, machinery, or discrete manufacturing context.
• Practical configuration experience with IFS Connect (not just functional end-user testing).
• Solid understanding of automotive supply chain workflows (release accounting, call-offs, delivery agreements, CUMs).
• Solid working knowledge of standard EDI protocols and file formats (EDIFACT, ANSI X12, XML).
