Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Sales Support role in freight forwarding, based in Mumbai. The role involves supporting the sales team with quotations, rate preparation, and follow-ups for export and import freight inquiries. Responsibilities include coordinating with operations and documentation teams, liaising with customers and overseas agents, and ensuring timely responses to customer requests. The Sales Support professional will handle customer queries, maintain accurate records of shipments and rates,



and assist with preparing proposals and presentations. The role also includes tracking shipments, updating stakeholders, and contributing to customer service initiatives to strengthen client relationships. Qualifications
• Experience in freight forwarding and forwarding operations, with a strong understanding of industry processes.
• Knowledge of export procedures and documentation within international freight transportation.
• Customer service skills focused on responsiveness, clear communication, and relationship management.
• Familiarity with freight transportation concepts, including modes of transport and basic pricing structures.
• Ability to work on-site in Mumbai and collaborate effectively with sales, operations, and documentation teams.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel and email communication).
• Prior experience in a logistics, shipping, or freight forwarding environment is preferred.
• Relevant educational background in commerce, logistics, business, or a related field is an advantage.
