Role Description This is a full time, on-site Neurologist role based in Amritsar at Smt. Paarvati Devi Hospital. The Neurologist will provide comprehensive outpatient and inpatient care for individuals with neurological conditions, including assessment, diagnosis, and evidence-based management. Daily responsibilities include conducting clinical consultations, interpreting neurodiagnostic tests, developing treatment plans, coordinating multidisciplinary care, and participating in ward rounds. The Neurologist will collaborate closely with colleagues in Neurosurgery,



Internal Medicine, Rehabilitation, and other specialties to ensure integrated patient care. Additional responsibilities may include contributing to clinical protocols, participating in quality improvement initiatives, mentoring junior medical staff, and engaging in continuing medical education. Qualifications
• Solid foundation in Medicine, including broad clinical knowledge and experience in managing complex medical conditions.
• Advanced expertise in Neurology, with the ability to diagnose and manage a wide range of neurological disorders.
• Clinical experience in Epilepsy care, including seizure classification, treatment optimization, and long-term follow-up.
• Proficiency in managing Movement Disorders, including Parkinson’s disease and other extrapyramidal conditions.
• Ability to perform and interpret EEG and related neurophysiological studies.
• Recognized medical degree and postgraduate qualification in Neurology with valid registration from the appropriate medical council.
• Demonstrated commitment to patient-centered care, ethical clinical practice, and evidence-based medicine.
• Strong communication skills, ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team, and openness to continuous learning and research collaboration.
• Prior experience in a tertiary care or multi-specialty hospital setting is preferred.
