With a view to an important company expansion project, we are looking for an Operational Excellence Consultant (based in India). Position OverviewWe are looking for an Operational Excellence & Lean Industrial Consultant to join our team. The incumbent could be based in Pune, Bangalore or New Delhi. As an Operational Excellence Consultant, you will go beyond process analysis by acting as a driver of industrial value creation. You will contribute to end-to-end transformation projects, applying Operational Excellence frameworks to improve manufacturing performance and align operational execution with business strategy. Our approach starts at Gemba. We are looking for professionals capable of analyzing manufacturing processes and operational data to eliminate waste, reduce variability, and implement structured continuous improvement initiatives based on Lean Thinking and Lean Six Sigma methodologies.

Key Responsibilities
1. Business Development: ● Identify and cultivate new business opportunities, including potential clients, markets,



and partnerships in the areas of operational excellence. ● Reach out to prospects, offer the company’s services and take all necessary steps for conversion. ● Proactively identify opportunities to add value to customer projects and drive continuous improvement initiatives. ● Collaborate with customers to understand their needs, expectations, and objectives for each project. ● Develop customized proposals, presentations, and pitches to effectively communicate the value proposition of our lean consulting services. 2. Project Management & Execution:
• Deliver industrial transformation and continuous improvement projects for manufacturing clients, ensuring the achievement of performance, efficiency, and value creation objectives.
• Analyze, map, and optimize manufacturing processes through Value Stream Mapping (VSM), identifying waste and opportunities to reduce Lead Time.
• Drive Operational Excellence initiatives focused on improving manufacturing performance, with particular emphasis on productivity, quality, service levels, equipment utilization, and process stability.
• Implement and develop key World Class Manufacturing (WCM) and Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) pillars, including Skilled Maintenance, Autonomous Maintenance, and Quality Control, to improve Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) and asset reliability.
• Support the deployment of industrial strategy through Hoshin Kanri,



defining operational KPIs and performance monitoring systems aligned with plant objectives.
• Apply Lean Six Sigma methodologies and tools to reduce process variability, improve quality, and introduce structured problem-solving approaches.
• Facilitate workshops, Gemba Walks, and continuous improvement sessions involving stakeholders at different organizational levels, encouraging engagement across both operational and management teams.

Qualifications:
● Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Production, Industrial Engineering or a related field. Master's degree preferred. ● 6
- 8 years of experience in project management, preferably in the consulting or professional services industry. ● Proven track record of successfully delivering projects on time and to customer satisfaction. ● Strong understanding of operational excellence methodologies, tools, and techniques. ● Lean Six Sigma, Lean Management, TPM, or WCM certifications are a plus. ● Solid knowledge of excel, Power BI and other analytic tools. Soft Skills Required: ● Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills. ● Experience in manufacturing environments and/or management consulting, preferably supporting industrial transformation initiatives. ● Solid understanding of Lean Thinking, Operational Excellence, and Lean Six Sigma principles. ● Experience in manufacturing process analysis, Value Stream Mapping, and process optimization. ● Knowledge of WCM, TPM, OEE improvement, and structured problem-solving methodologies. ● Strong analytical mindset and problem-solving capabilities. ● Project Management, Problem Solving mindset and a Sales Attitude ● Entrepreneurial spirit with a demonstrated ability to innovate and drive change.
