About The Role
As Aspire scales across Southeast Asia, our Periodic Review team needs strong research support to keep reviews accurate and on time. This role is for curious, sharp graduates who want to learn how financial crime compliance works in a fast-growing fintech. You’ll dig into real businesses, piece together what they do and who is behind them, and help analysts make sound risk decisions. About The Team The Periodic Review team sits within Aspire’s Financial Crime & Compliance function and reviews existing customer accounts to keep them compliant with AML/CFT regulations and internal risk policies. Reviews cover customer profiles, transactional activity, source of funds, ownership structures and documentation. The team works closely with KYC, Transaction Monitoring, Fraud, Compliance Advisory and Business teams. You’ll report to the PR Lead/Manager and be paired with a senior analyst as your buddy. What You’ll Own




• Research customer businesses using public sources: company websites, registries, news and adverse media
• Gather and organise information on ownership, business activity and source of funds to support analyst reviews
• Flag inconsistencies between what a customer told us, their documents and what you find online
• Maintain trackers and case data accurately in Google Sheets, Jira and HubSpot
• Write short, clear research summaries that analysts can rely on
• Suggest ways to make research faster or more consistent, such as checklists or templates What You Need To Be Successful
• A recent graduate or final-year student in business, finance, law, economics or a related field
• Curiosity and a knack for online research, with the persistence to follow a trail until the picture is clear
• Strong attention to detail and the judgement to spot when something doesn’t add up
• Clear written English, with the ability to turn findings into concise summaries
• Comfort working with trackers and data in Google Sheets, with a willingness to learn Jira and HubSpot
• An interest in financial crime compliance and fintech, and a readiness to learn quickly in a fast-paced, collaborative team
