2–5 Years Job Summary We are looking for a detail-oriented and analytical Retail Operations Auditor to strengthen operational discipline, data accuracy, and compliance across our retail stores. The role involves CCTV-based operational checks, footfall data validation, store SOP audits, retail operations system monitoring, reporting, and corrective action tracking. The candidate will ensure that reported store activities match actual execution and identify operational gaps.

Key Responsibilities
• CCTV Monitoring & Surveillance Audits
• Conduct scheduled and random CCTV audits to verify compliance with store operating procedures.
• Review store opening and closing routines, staff deployment, floor readiness, and customer-facing operations.
• Document exceptions with timestamps, observations, and supporting evidence.
• Escalate material deviations, suspected fraud, and repeated non-compliance.
• Maintain confidentiality of CCTV footage and ensure authorised access.
• Footfall Accuracy & Validation
• Validate automated and manually reported footfall against CCTV samples.
• Identify missed counts, duplicate counts, and incorrect classifications.
• Maintain store-wise footfall accuracy reports.
• Coordinate with store teams, technology teams, and vendors to resolve discrepancies.
• Store Operations & SOP Audits
• Conduct daily, weekly, and monthly audits against defined retail SOPs.
• Audit store opening and closing checklists,



order trackers, at-store orders, and pre-confirmed order updates.
• Verify alteration tracking, customer follow-ups, and completion status.
• Audit NPS calling, feedback documentation, staff grooming, attendance, cleanliness, and floor readiness.
• Maintain store-wise audit scores and track corrective actions.
• Retail Operations Systems Management
• Monitor retail operations systems, audit tools, dashboards, and reporting platforms.
• Track daily store submissions, mandatory updates, missing entries, and data-quality issues.
• Maintain store master data, audit records, and reporting formats.
• Coordinate with technology teams and vendors to resolve system issues.
• Identify opportunities to automate reporting and reduce manual effort.
• Reporting, Analytics & Corrective Actions
• Prepare daily exception reports and weekly/monthly store and regional audit summaries.
• Highlight low-compliance stores, recurring deviations, and footfall discrepancies.
• Track corrective and preventive actions through closure.
• Conduct follow-up checks to verify issue resolution.
• Recommend process improvements based on audit trends.
• Cross-Functional Coordination




• Coordinate with Regional Managers, Store Managers, Retail Operations, IT, Loss Prevention, and Customer Experience teams.
• Support the rollout of current SOPs, checklists, audit processes, and retail systems.
• Communicate audit findings objectively and maintain accurate documentation. Required Skills & Experience
• 2–5 years of experience in retail operations, internal audits, quality assurance, loss prevention, or retail compliance.
• Experience in multi-store retail operations preferred.
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and sound judgement.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets.
• Familiarity with CCTV monitoring, footfall counters, POS, order management systems, or retail audit applications.
• Experience with dashboards and reporting tools is an advantage.
• Strong communication, documentation, and stakeholder-management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple audits and independently follow up across locations. Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
