We are looking for an enthusiastic, experienced and target-driven Senior Career Counsellor with prior EdTech industry experience to join our team.
Key Responsibilities
• Connect with prospective students and working professionals through inbound and outbound calls.
• Understand candidates' career goals, educational backgrounds and learning requirements.
• Counsel prospective learners on relevant courses, career opportunities and skill development programs.
• Explain course curriculum, program benefits, training structure and placement assistance wherever applicable.
• Convert qualified leads into enrollments by effectively communicating the value of our programs.
• Follow up with prospective students regularly and maintain a healthy sales pipeline.
• Handle student queries, objections and concerns professionally.
• Achieve monthly enrollment and revenue targets assigned by the management.
• Maintain accurate lead information,
follow-ups and daily activity reports in the CRM.
• Coordinate with the internal teams to ensure a smooth student enrollment experience. Required Skills & Qualifications
• Minimum 1 year of compulsory experience in the EdTech industry.
• Prior experience in career counselling, educational counselling or course sales.
• Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong convincing, negotiation and objection-handling abilities.
• Ability to understand student requirements and recommend suitable learning programs.
• Target-oriented approach with a proven ability to drive conversions.
• Positive follow-up, relationship management and CRM handling skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Eligibility Criteria
• Candidates with relevant EdTech experience only.
• Freshers and candidates without EdTech experience are not eligible.
