Role Description The STP Operator role is a full-time, on-site position based in PITHAMPUR DHAR MADHYDA PRADESH. The STP Operator will be responsible for operating and monitoring sewage treatment plant (STP) equipment to ensure efficient, safe, and compliant treatment of wastewater. Daily tasks include checking and recording operational parameters, performing routine inspections, managing chemical dosing, and maintaining pumps, valves, and control panels. The role involves conducting basic water quality tests,



reporting abnormalities, coordinating with maintenance teams for repairs, and following standard operating procedures and safety guidelines. The STP Operator will also support documentation for regulatory compliance, assist during audits, and contribute to continuous improvement of environmental and safety performance at the facility. Responsibilities:
• Solid understanding of sewage treatment plant processes, wastewater treatment operations, and basic environmental compliance requirements.
• Ability to perform routine monitoring, basic water and effluent quality tests, and accurate data recording in logs and reports.
• Hands-on experience with pumps, motors, valves, control panels, and related mechanical/electrical equipment used in STP operations.
• Knowledge of workplace safety practices, use of personal protective equipment (PPE), and adherence to EHS and fire safety guidelines.
• Minimum high school diploma; ITI/Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, Setting, or related field is preferred.
• Prior experience as an STP Operator or in water/effluent treatment operations will be an advantage.
• Ability to work in shifts, respond to operational issues promptly, and coordinate with maintenance and EHS teams.
• Basic computer skills for maintaining records and familiarity with standard operating procedures and documentation.
