Role Description The Financial Planning Consultant is a full time, on-site role based in Gurugram. In this position, the consultant will meet with clients to understand their financial goals, assess their current financial situation, and develop tailored plans for insurance, investments, and retirement. Day-to-day tasks include analyzing financial data, recommending appropriate HDFC Life products, preparing proposals, and conducting regular reviews to track progress against client objectives. The role also involves educating clients about financial concepts, maintaining accurate documentation,



collaborating with internal teams to ensure smooth policy issuance and servicing, and adhering to regulatory and compliance standards. Qualifications
• Strong Financial Planning skills, including goal-based planning and cash flow analysis.
• Knowledge of Retirement Planning strategies and ability to design long-term income solutions.
• Understanding of Investments and basic principles of risk, return, and portfolio diversification.
• Foundational expertise in Finance and familiarity with financial products and regulations.
• Experience or interest in the Financial Services sector, particularly life insurance and wealth protection.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Commerce, Economics, Business, or a related field; professional certifications (e.g., CFP) are an advantage.
• Strong analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust and long-term client relationships.
• Comfort working with digital tools, CRM systems, and MS Office for analysis and reporting.
• Demonstrated integrity, customer-focused mindset, and ability to work in a target-driven environment.
