Job Description
We are looking for a professional with strong knowledge of Financial Accounting, ERP Configuration, and Functional Testing. The candidate will be responsible for configuring, testing, and validating the complete Financial Accounting Module of our ERP software, from basic accounting transactions to final financial statements, including Trial Balance, Profit & Loss Account, and Balance Sheet.

• Chart of Accounts (COA) configuration
• Account Groups and Ledger Master setup
• Financial Year and Opening Balance configuration
• Voucher Types and Numbering configuration
• Cost Centre and Project-wise Accounting
• GST and TDS configuration
• Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable setup
• Bank and Cash Account configuration 2. Financial Accounting Functional Testing Perform end-to-end testing of:
• Journal Vouchers
• Payment Vouchers
• Receipt Vouchers
• Contra Entries
• Debit Notes and Credit Notes
• Sales and Purchase Accounting
• Customer and Vendor Ledgers
• Bank Reconciliation (BRS)
• General Ledger
• Trial Balance
• Profit & Loss Account
• Balance Sheet
• Outstanding Receivables and Payables
• Financial Year Closing and Opening Balances 3. Financial Reports Validation Candidate must be capable of independently validating:
• Trial Balance – Debit/Credit reconciliation
• Profit & Loss – Income and Expense calculations
• Balance Sheet – Assets, Liabilities and Equity
• General Ledger – Transaction-wise reconciliation




• Customer and Vendor Outstanding Reports
• GST and TDS Reports
• Project-wise Profitability Reports
• Financial Statement Accuracy 4. ERP Testing & Quality Assurance
• Prepare functional test cases and test scenarios.
• Validate accounting entries against standard accounting principles.
• Identify accounting logic errors and calculation discrepancies.
• Perform end-to-end financial transaction testing.
• Report bugs and coordinate with the development team.
• Perform regression testing after bug fixes.
• Validate financial reports against accounting records.
• Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT). Required Skills
• Strong practical knowledge of Financial Accounting.
• Experience in ERP Finance Module configuration and testing.
• Understanding of double-entry accounting principles.
• Ability to prepare and verify Trial Balance, P&L; and Balance Sheet.
• Knowledge of GST, TDS and Indian accounting practices.
• Experience with Tally, SAP FICO, Microsoft Dynamics, Oracle Financials or similar ERP accounting software.
• Valuable knowledge of Excel for financial reconciliation.
• Understanding of accounting workflows and financial reporting. Preferred

• Must have hands-on experience in Financial Accounting configuration or functional testing.
• Must understand accounting transactions from voucher entry to final financial statements.
• Must be able to independently verify Trial Balance, Profit & Loss Account and Balance Sheet.
• Must have practical experience with accounting software or ERP Finance Modules.
