Ink Orbit is a new-age trade publishing company located in Gurugram. We publish eBooks, audiobooks, and print editions. We're looking for a Copyeditor & Ghostwriter to join our team.

Responsibilities:
• Proofread and copyedit manuscripts using tools
• Ghostwrite and rewrite content based on authors' ideas, voice notes, interviews, and drafts
• Structure chapters and improve content flow while preserving the author's voice
• Curate and compile public domain content (e.g., folktales, historical classics)
• Structure and theme short story collections and anthologies
• Write blurbs, metadata, keywords, and summaries for platforms like Amazon Kindle
• Work closely with our design team to ensure aesthetic and editorial consistency What you need:




• Strong command of written English
• Positive writing, editing, and storytelling skills
• Ability to turn ideas and rough drafts into well-structured content
• Editorial instinct — you notice what doesn't read right
• Curiosity for books, literature, and meaningful stories
