Experience:
6+ years Role Overview As DM-AP We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Deputy Manager – Accounts Payable to oversee end-to-end accounts payable operations, ensure financial accuracy, strengthen internal controls, and manage vendor relationships. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of accounting, expertise in GST and TDS compliance, and the ability to lead AP operations while supporting month-end closures, MIS reporting, and process improvements.

Key Responsibilities
1. Accounts Payable & Vendor Management
• Manage end-to-end accounts payable operations, including invoice processing, vendor payments, reimbursements and reconciliations.
• Ensure accurate and timely processing of invoices as per company policies and approval workflows.
• Monitor payable ageing, outstanding liabilities, vendor advances and payment schedules.
• Resolve vendor discrepancies, payment disputes and escalations. 2. GST,



TDS & Financial Controls
• Ensure compliance with applicable GST, TDS and other statutory requirements.
• Review invoices, supporting documents and payment proposals before processing.
• Ensure adherence to internal financial controls and approval matrices.
• Maintain accurate documentation for audit requirements. 3. MIS & Financial Reporting
• Prepare and review AP ageing reports, expense reports and monthly MIS.
• Support month-end and year-end financial closures, including provisions, accruals and vendor balances.
• Analyse outstanding payables and expense variations.
• Provide financial data and liability projections to management. 4. Team Management & Coordination
• Supervise and guide the accounts payable team.
• Allocate workloads and monitor productivity, accuracy and turnaround time.
• Coordinate with internal departments and vendors for timely invoice processing and payment resolution.
• Ensure adherence to SOPs and established processes. 5. Process Improvement & Audit
• Identify opportunities to streamline and automate AP processes.
• Support internal and statutory audits.
• Improve invoice processing efficiency,



reconciliation accuracy and payment turnaround time.
• Strengthen internal controls and process documentation. Candidate Profile:
• Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance or a related discipline.
• M.
Com, MBA Finance or CA Inter will be an added advantage.
• 6–10 years of relevant experience in Accounts Payable and General Accounting.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, GST, TDS and statutory compliance.
• Hands-on experience in vendor management, invoice processing and reconciliations.
• Proficiency in Tally, ERP systems, Zoho Books or similar accounting software.
• Advanced MS Excel skills, including Pivot Tables and Lookup Functions.
• Experience in MIS reporting, AP ageing and month-end closures.
