ABOUT BITE Banaras Institute of Teacher's Education (BITE) is a unit of Purwanchal Educational Trust at Babatpur, Varanasi. We run NCTE-recognised B.
Ed and B.
P.
Ed programmes, an AICTE-approved MBA affiliated to AKTU, Lucknow, and undergraduate and postgraduate programmes affiliated to Mahatma Gandhi Kashi Vidyapith, Varanasi. Our students come from across Purvanchal and Bihar, many of them the first in their family to enter higher education.

ABOUT THE ROLE
We are building our own content team for Instagram, Facebook, YouTube and LinkedIn, and we want an experienced creator to lead it from our campus. You will turn real teaching, real students and real campus life into reels, carousels and stories that people save and share: teachers explaining a classroom idea in 60 seconds, a day in a student's life, alumni stories, and explicit admission information. Once the team is in place, the plan is at least 24 reels and 10 to 12 carousels a month. WHAT YOU WILL DO
• Plan the monthly content calendar with faculty, around four content pillars and eight recurring series, keeping room for campus events.
• Write scripts, shoot on phone and gimbal, and direct teachers and students on camera with confidence and respect.
• Lead a small production team: a video editor and a student media crew of 10 to 12 volunteers. Audition, train and schedule the students, and run short workshops for them on phone video, writing and responsible social media.
• Edit, or guide the editing of, reels and carousels in Edits, VN and Canva, within BITE's templates and brand rules.
• Publish and schedule in Meta Business Suite, and adapt posts for YouTube Shorts, LinkedIn and our Google Business Profile.
• Run Collab posts with students and alumni, Stories and the Instagram broadcast channel, and reply to comments within the agreed times.
• Use AI tools every day, responsibly: draft scripts and captions, translate and dub between Hindi and English,

and generate subtitles and design variations. Check every fact, never enter student data into an AI tool, and never present AI-made people or events as real.
• Keep the content log, file library and consent records, read the weekly figures, and report monthly to the Coordinator, Admissions and Placements. WHAT WE NEED (ESSENTIAL) 1. Three years or more of professional experience creating short-form video and social media content. 2. A portfolio of reels or videos you shot and edited yourself. 3. Experience leading or guiding a team, interns or groups of students, and the warmth to work every day with students aged 17 to 25. 4. Confident, everyday use of AI tools in content work, for example ChatGPT, Gemini or Claude for writing, Meta AI for translation, and the AI features in Canva and video editors. 5. Natural spoken and written Hindi and English, with the ability to write easy Hinglish captions and professional English posts. 6. A graduate degree in any discipline. 7. A native of Varanasi, or roots in Varanasi or the neighbouring districts (hometown, family, or studied here), and able to work on campus at Babatpur, Monday to Saturday. PREFERRED
• Five years or more of experience.
• A degree or diploma in mass communication, journalism, media, film or design.
• Experience with a school, college, coaching institute or education brand.
• Working knowledge of Meta Business Suite insights. SALARY ₹30,000 – ₹45,000 per month, as per experience and capability.

Shortlisted candidates get a 48-hour practical task: shoot and edit one 45-second reel on our campus from a brief, design one carousel, reply to three real comments, and plan two weeks of one series. An interview and a short presentation of your work at the campus follow. Applications close on 25 November 2026.
