- Remote –Asset collection from (Chennai / Pune / Mumbai / Bangalore / Noida) Work Model: Contract Remote Domain: Healthcare Position: QA Automation Engineer Job SummaryWe are looking for an experienced QA Automation Engineer with 8–10 years of experience in Quality Assurance and Test Automation, preferably within the Healthcare domain. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, implementing, and maintaining automation testing frameworks to enhance software quality and minimize manual testing efforts. The role involves working closely with Product, Engineering, and QA teams to develop effective test strategies and ensure high-quality releases across the claims processing platform.

Key Responsibilities
1. Test Planning & Design
• Review business requirements, Jira stories, and acceptance criteria to develop comprehensive test plans and test cases.
• Design test scenarios covering functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing.
• Identify repetitive and high-value test scenarios suitable for automation.
• Participate in sprint planning, backlog refinement, and requirement discussions. 2. Test Automation Framework Development
• Evaluate, recommend, and implement suitable automation testing frameworks and tools.
• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for web, API, and system testing.
• Build reusable automation libraries, standards, and testing components.
• Expand automation coverage to reduce manual testing efforts.




• Maintain and enhance existing automation scripts based on application changes. 3. Testing Execution & Validation
• Execute automated regression, smoke, and functional test suites.
• Perform manual testing wherever automation is not feasible.
• Validate end-to-end business workflows across the claims processing platform.
• Perform API testing using Postman.
• Conduct database validation using SQL.
• Verify bug fixes and ensure application readiness before production releases. 4. Defect Management
• Identify, document, and track defects using Jira.
• Provide transparent defect descriptions, reproduction steps, and supporting evidence.
• Collaborate with development teams to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
• Retest resolved defects and validate successful implementation.
• Communicate testing progress, risks, and quality metrics. 5. Automation Strategy & Continuous Improvement
• Lead the evaluation, selection, and implementation of test automation solutions.
• Establish automation best practices, coding standards, and documentation.
• Identify opportunities to improve testing efficiency and software quality.
• Continuously enhance automation processes and framework performance. 6.



Collaboration & Agile Methodology
• Work closely with Product Owners, Business Analysts, Developers, and QA teams.
• Participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, backlog refinement, and release activities.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams throughout the Agile/Scrum development lifecycle.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of the organization's QA strategy. Mandatory Skills & Qualifications
• 8–10 years of experience in Quality Assurance, with a strong focus on Test Automation.
• Hands-on experience designing, developing, and maintaining automation testing frameworks.
• Experience with automation testing tools and frameworks.
• Experience in API testing using Postman.
• Basic knowledge of SQL and database validation.
• Experience working with Jira and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, software testing methodologies, and defect lifecycle.
• Experience in functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Preferred Skills
• Intermediate-level proficiency in SQL and database validation.
• Experience building and implementing automation frameworks from scratch.
• Previous experience in the Healthcare domain.
• Exposure to healthcare applications, claims processing platforms, and enterprise applications.
• Experience developing automation strategies and improving test coverage.
