About the Role
This posting is for Complex High-Speed PCB Design Engineer to join our hardware team and work on exciting and cutting edge electronics for modern aircraft. The role will focus on PCB design for complex digital systems, including SOC and FPGA-based boards, high-speed interfaces, BGA devices, multilayer PCBs, and dense signal routing.
Key Responsibilities
• Work with the hardware team on schematic implementation and PCB design.
• Create and maintain component libraries, including symbols, footprints, and 3D models.
• Design multilayer PCBs for FPGA and high-speed digital systems.
• Perform BGA placement, fanout, breakout, and escape routing.
• Route high-speed interfaces such as DDR, PCIe, USB, Ethernet, LVDS, MIPI, and other high-speed interfaces.
• Implement differential-pair routing, impedance-controlled routing, and length matching.
• Follow appropriate signal-return paths, grounding, and power-distribution practices.
• Assist with PCB stack-up planning and impedance requirements.
• Perform DRC, DFM, and DFA checks.
• Prepare manufacturing files including Gerber, NC Drill, BOM, pick-and-place, and assembly data.
• Support PCB prototyping, bring-up, testing, and debugging.
• Coordinate with hardware, firmware, and manufacturing teams during development.
• Maintain PCB design documentation and revision control. Required Skills
