· NEW DELHI Growth Associate (Psychology) Understand the student first. Everything else follows. Blue Ocean is a selective, founder-led education consulting practice. We work closely with a small number of families on a simple principle: develop the student, and admissions follow. To develop a student, we first have to understand them. We are looking for a psychology graduate who can do exactly that, and who can be the first warm, credible voice every family hears. THE ROLE You will be the first point of contact for every family that reaches out, and you will run our diagnostic conversations with prospective students and their parents. In these calls you listen for what the student truly wants, what the parents hope for, and where the student stands today: academically, personally, and in terms of readiness. You turn those conversations into a clear picture that our counsellors build on. You also own how every lead is tracked, from first enquiry to handover.

WHAT YOU'LL DO
• Be the first person prospective families speak to, on calls, on email, and over WhatsApp.
• Run structured diagnostic calls with students and parents to understand aspirations, interests, strengths, and concerns.
• Assess where the student stands today and write it up as a clear profile for our counsellors.
• Handle the gap between what a student wants and what a parent expects, with tact.
• Own the CRM.



Keep every lead clean, current, and accounted for. Nothing slips.
• Qualify enquiries, follow up properly, and tell us what is working and what is not. WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
• A degree in Psychology (Bachelor's or Master's). Counselling, applied, or developmental psychology is a plus.
• Real skill in listening and questioning. You can draw people out, read what is unsaid, and stay calm and warm with anxious parents and teenagers alike.
• Exceptional English, spoken and written. Our families expect it, and so do we.
• Confidence and warmth in equal measure. You are at ease with accomplished, discerning people.
• A sharp, organized mind. You write clearly, you like systems, and you are comfortable with a CRM or can pick one up fast.
• Up to 3 years in counselling, client-facing, or sales roles. Exceptional freshers with outstanding communication are welcome to apply.
