· Build, lead, and mentor a team of Solar Design Specialists.
· Drive technical quality assurance and review solar PV designs and engineering deliverables.
· Validate design parameters, engineering calculations, system layouts, and project documentation.
· Actively participate in C&I; Solar PV design, engineering, and modelling activities.
· Work extensively with various tools used in Solar Project Design.
· Review electrical and structural design aspects to ensure compliance with applicable codes and standards.
· Evaluate and optimize solar PV designs for system performance, reliability, and efficiency.
· Conduct preliminary technical reviews of third-party electrical design submissions.
· Develop technical training programmes and promote knowledge sharing and continuous improvement within the team.
· Directly interact with the technical and design teams of our US-based clients. Qualifications
· Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related engineering discipline.




· Relevant postgraduate qualifications or certifications in Solar Energy/Renewable Energy will be an added advantage.
· 10–12 years of relevant experience in Solar PV Design & Engineering.
· Strong experience in detailed engineering design of large-scale (MW-level) Solar PV projects in the US region.
· Experience in handling technical reviews, design quality assurance, and project execution.
· Prior experience in building and leading engineering/design teams.
· Experience working directly with US-based clients or on US-based solar projects will be highly valued.
· Robust knowledge of Solar PV system design and engineering.
· Sound understanding of electrical design, PV system engineering, and design calculations.
· Knowledge of applicable electrical codes, standards, and design practices, particularly US standards.
· Ability to review electrical and structural design submissions.
· Strong understanding of design QA/QC processes and technical documentation.
· Good project planning and coordination skills.
· Strong leadership, mentoring, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
