Location:
Delhi We are looking for an experienced BIW Design Engineer with strong expertise in automotive body structure design and development. Key
Requirements:
• Hands-on experience in BIW structure development, including underbody, side body, roof, front/rear structures, doors, and closures.
• Solid knowledge of automotive sheet metal design, GD&T;, tolerance stack-up, and dimensional engineering.
• Good understanding of DFM, DFA, DFS, tooling, stamping, welding, and joining processes.
• Experience in CAD modelling and design release, preferably using CATIA V5, with knowledge of CAE coordination for crash, durability, and NVH.
• Experience in cross-functional coordination with CAE, manufacturing, tooling, quality, suppliers, and vehicle integration teams. Preferred: Experience in production vehicle development and BIW manufacturing processes
