Role Description The Sr. Manager – Placements (Career Management) will lead the end-to-end placement and career development function for learners in School of Management (Under Graduate programs). This full-time, is based at the Karjat campus, though one can operate from ones place as well and involves designing and implementing placement strategies, building and nurturing relationships with recruiters, and securing internship and job opportunities with leading organizations. The role includes overseeing career Counseling services, organizing training and coaching sessions on employability skills, and coordinating campus recruitment drives and networking events. The Sr. Manager will collaborate closely with academic and administrative teams to align placement initiatives with program outcomes, maintain placement records and analytics,



and continuously enhance the university’s employer engagement and brand visibility. The position also requires mentoring to ensure efficient operations and high-quality support for learners. Qualifications
• Candidates should possess strong Career Counseling and Coaching skills to guide learners on career paths, job search strategies, and professional development.
• Candidates should possess excellent Communication skills for interacting with recruiters, learners, faculty, and leadership, and for delivering presentations and workshops.
• Candidates should possess effective Team Management and Training skills to lead the placements team and design employability, interview, and soft skills programs.
• Relevant experience in campus placements, corporate relations, talent acquisition, or career services within higher education or industry.
• Proven ability to build and sustain partnerships with national and international employers, and familiarity with evolving job market and future skills trends.
• Solid organizational, planning, and data-driven decision-making abilities, including use of placement tracking tools and reporting dashboards.
• Postgraduate degree in Management, Human Resources, Education, or a related field is preferred; equivalent experience will be considered.
• Commitment to learner-centric outcomes, ethical practices, and the university’s focus on AI, sustainability, and global employability.
