Role Description The Biomedical Engineer at Lila Agro Private Limited will work on the selection, installation, calibration, and maintenance of medical and biomedical equipment used within the organization’s operations and partner facilities. Responsibilities include performing routine inspections, troubleshooting equipment issues, coordinating repairs, and implementing preventive maintenance schedules to ensure optimal safety and performance. The role involves collaborating with clinical and operational teams to assess equipment needs, supporting compliance with relevant standards, and maintaining accurate documentation of all technical activities.



This is a full-time, on-site role based in the Greater Kolkata Area. Qualifications
• Strong foundation in Biomedical Engineering and Clinical Engineering, with the ability to apply engineering principles to medical and agro-related equipment environments.
• Hands-on experience with Medical Equipment and related biomedical devices, including installation, calibration, and performance verification.
• Proficiency in Equipment Maintenance and Preventive Maintenance practices to ensure reliability, safety, and reduced equipment downtime.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Biomedical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• Knowledge of relevant safety and regulatory standards for medical and biomedical equipment.
• Ability to interpret technical manuals, schematics, and service documentation, with strong problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including clinical and operations personnel.
• Prior experience in hospital, clinic, diagnostic center, or equipment manufacturing/service settings is an advantage.
