ABOUT THE ROLE
Northern Agency is looking for a creative Video Editor with a strong understanding of Instagram Reels and short-form content. We're looking for someone who knows how to turn raw footage into engaging, scroll-stopping videos through creative cuts, storytelling, sound design, motion graphics and trending editing styles. KEY RESPONSIBILTIES:
• Edit engaging Instagram Reels and short-form social media videos.
• Create attention-grabbing edits with strong hooks, smooth transitions, subtitles, sound effects and trending audio.
• Work on brand videos, cinematic edits and storytelling-based content.
• Create motion graphics, animations and visual effects.
• Edit long-form videos, podcasts and documentary-style content when required.
• Use AI tools for video editing,
visual generation and creative enhancement.
• Coordinate with the content team to understand briefs and bring creative concepts to life.
• Manage revisions and deliver projects within deadlines. WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR :
• Minimum 1+ year of practical video editing experience.
• Strong understanding of Instagram Reels and short-form content.
• Positive command of Premiere Pro, After Effects and similar tools.
• Knowledge of motion graphics, sound design and colour grading.
• Familiarity with AI-powered video editing tools.
• Creative thinking, attention to detail and a good understanding of social media trends.
