Role Description The Article Trainee will support the team in day-to-day accounting, auditing, taxation, and GST-related assignments. Responsibilities include assisting in preparation and review of financial statements, working papers, tax returns, and compliance documentation under various statutes. The trainee will conduct basic research on regulatory requirements,



help with client communication and documentation, and maintain accurate records and working files. The role may also involve support in corporate consultancy projects and management reporting. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Kolkata. Qualifications
• Foundational knowledge of accounting principles, financial statements, and bookkeeping practices.
• Basic understanding of taxation laws, GST provisions, and regulatory compliance in India.
• Comfort with auditing procedures, documentation, and working under professional standards.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and ability to learn accounting and tax software.
• Strong analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills and a professional, client-focused attitude.
• Ability to work full-time on-site in Kolkata, manage deadlines, and collaborate in a team workplace.
• Enrollment in or completion of CA/CS/CMA or related professional course, or a commerce/finance degree, is preferred.
