Role Description The Accountant role at Apna Groups is a full-time, on-site position based in Indore. The role involves managing day-to-day accounting activities, including recording financial transactions, maintaining ledgers, preparing invoices, and reconciling bank statements. The Accountant will assist with monthly and annual closing, prepare financial reports, support budgeting and forecasting, and ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards and tax regulations. This position also works closely with operations and management to provide accurate financial data, monitor expenses,



and support audits and internal controls. The role requires strong attention to detail, integrity, and the ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Qualifications
• Strong knowledge of basic accounting principles, financial reporting, and general ledger management.
• Proficiency with accounting software (e.g., Tally, Zoho, QuickBooks or similar) and MS Excel for data analysis and reporting.
• Ability to handle accounts payable and receivable, bank reconciliations, and tax-related documentation.
• Excellent numerical accuracy, attention to detail, and organizational skills.
• Positive communication skills and ability to collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field; professional certifications (CA, CMA, or equivalent) are an advantage.
• Experience in corporate or service-sector accounting; familiarity with security or investigations industry is a plus.
• Ability to work on-site in Indore on a full-time schedule and maintain confidentiality of financial information.
