Counselling Psychologist

University of York Campus, Powai,Mumbai Engagement: 3 days/week | 8 hours/day Mode: On-site Why This Role Matters: Every student conversation, every staff interaction, every moment of support tells a story. We are looking for a psychologist who can help us understand those stories, respond with care, and build a culture of resilience and wellbeing on campus. This is not just counselling sessions — it’s about shaping the mental health ecosystem of a university. What You Will Own:
• Clinical Care: Conduct assessments, provide counselling, identify risks, and manage crisis triage with sensitivity and professionalism.
• Continuity of Support: Ensure students and staff receive timely referrals and ongoing care.
• Engagement: Lead wellbeing activities that make mental health approachable, stigma-free, and part of everyday campus life.
• Documentation & Governance: Maintain confidential records, uphold safeguarding protocols, and contribute to monthly quality reviews.
• Supervision & Growth: Conduct monthly clinical supervision, complete advanced training (including AI-assisted care),



and share insights with the university.

Qualifications:
• Master’s/M.
Phil in Clinical or Counselling Psychology
• Valid RCI registration
• Minimum 2 years of post-qualification experience with young adults
• Proficiency in evidence-based therapies (CBT, DBT, mindfulness, etc.).
• Strong communication and empathy skills.
• Knowledge of Mental Health concepts, including assessment, risk identification, and evidence-based psychoeducational strategies.
• Background in Special Education, including understanding of neurodiversity, learning differences, and inclusive educational practices. Why You’ll Love Working Here:
