10+ Years Seniority: AVP / General Manager Industry: AEC | BIM | VDC | Engineering Services Market: USA, Canada & Europe Job Overview We are hiring an experienced AVP / General Manager – International Business Development to lead business expansion across the USA, Canada and European markets for a leading AEC, BIM and Engineering Services organization. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in international business development, recent client acquisition, revenue generation and strategic account management within the Architecture, Engineering and Construction (AEC) industry. This is a senior leadership opportunity for a professional with strong international client relationships, expertise in selling BIM, VDC, engineering design and offshore delivery services, and experience leading business development teams of 10+ members.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and execute international business development strategies for the USA, Canada and Europe.
- Identify, acquire and develop new international clients across AEC, construction, architecture, engineering and infrastructure sectors.
- Build relationships with C-suite executives, architects, engineering leaders, contractors and business decision-makers.
- Drive the complete sales lifecycle, including lead generation, prospecting, client presentations, negotiations and deal closures.
- Generate revenue through new client acquisition, strategic partnerships and existing account expansion.
- Promote BIM, VDC, digital engineering, architecture and offshore engineering design services.




- Develop market-entry strategies, identify new opportunities and conduct competitor analysis.
- Prepare commercial proposals, negotiate contracts and manage strategic client engagements.
- Lead, mentor and manage a business development team of 10+ professionals.
- Collaborate with technical, delivery and operations teams to ensure successful client onboarding and long-term relationships.
- Monitor business development performance, revenue targets, sales pipelines and key performance indicators. Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management or a related discipline.
- Minimum 10+ years of experience in International Business Development / Global Sales.
- Strong experience in the AEC, BIM, VDC, Engineering Design or Construction Technology industry.
- Proven experience acquiring and managing clients across the USA, Canada or European markets.
- Experience selling offshore/onshore engineering, BIM, VDC, architecture or design services.
- Strong understanding of global workshare and offshore delivery models.
- Demonstrated track record of revenue generation, client acquisition and business growth.
- Experience managing and leading business development teams of 10+ members.




- Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to engage with senior executives and C-suite decision-makers. Preferred Industry Exposure
