Role Description The Assistant Manager role at GoldSeal SaarGummi India is a full-time, in office position based in Viramgam. The role involves overseeing daily operations within the assigned department, monitoring production or process performance, and ensuring adherence to quality, safety, and delivery standards. Responsibilities include coordinating with cross-functional teams, managing schedules and resources, tracking key performance indicators, and implementing continuous improvement initiatives. The Assistant Manager will support team members, handle documentation and reporting,



assist in problem-solving and root cause analysis, and collaborate with senior management on strategic and operational priorities. The role also requires effective communication with internal stakeholders and, where applicable, customers or suppliers. Qualifications
- Strong operational and supervisory skills, including team coordination, resource planning, and performance monitoring.
- Experience in manufacturing or automotive environments, preferably in sealing systems, rubber components, or related industries.
- Proficiency in data analysis, reporting, and use of standard office and ERP tools for tracking production, quality, and inventory.
- Knowledge of quality systems, safety standards, and continuous improvement methodologies (e.g., 5S, Lean, or Kaizen).
- Effective communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across functions.
- Strong problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and capability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations Management, or a related field; a relevant postgraduate qualification is an advantage.
- Prior experience in a supervisory or assistant manager role in a plant or operations setting is preferred.
