Job Description
• 2-3 years of experience in automotive domain preferably in plastic & sheet metal design.
• Experience on Catia V5 is must, Experience in AutoCAD.
• Creation / modifications on 3D models using Catia V5 by Surfacing, Advanced Surfacing, Part Modelling, Sheet metal, Assembly, drafting.
• Strong in preparation of drawings with basic GD&T; or as per references.
• Knowledge of sheet metal/casting/forging manufacturing process.
• Experience on general design standards & guidelines.
• Exposure to design & development setting.
• Execute projects to meet customer time lines with quality.
• Experience in assembly integration, interference checks, clearance analysis, and dimensional assessments.
• Knowledge of DFMEA, DVP&R;, APQP, root-cause analysis, and engineering change management.
• Ability to manage parallel engineering tasks and project deadlines.
• Proactive risk identification and timely issue escalation.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving ability
• Good in spoken & written English communication.
