We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Quality Engineer with 3–5 years of experience in steel structure fabrication. The candidate will be responsible for monitoring fabrication quality, conducting inspections, verifying technical drawings, ensuring welding standards, and maintaining quality documentation throughout the manufacturing and project execution process. The ideal candidate should have practical knowledge of structural steel fabrication, welding inspection, dimensional verification, and quality control procedures. The candidate must ensure that all fabricated components meet approved drawings, project specifications, and required quality standards. Key Requirements
- 3–5 years of experience in Quality Control / Quality Assurance in steel structure fabrication.
- Diploma / B.
E. / B.
Tech in Mechanical Engineering or a relevant qualification.
- Strong knowledge of structural steel fabrication, welding, cutting, drilling, fitting, and assembly processes.
- Practical experience in dimensional inspection, welding inspection, and final quality inspection.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.




- Good knowledge of 7 QC Tools for quality analysis and process improvement.
- Practical knowledge of 8D Problem Solving and root cause analysis.
- Understanding of SPC (Statistical Process Control).
- Knowledge of MSA (Measurement System Analysis), including Gauge R&R.;
- Knowledge of PFMEA (Process Failure Mode and Effects Analysis) and risk assessment.
- Familiarity with ISO 9001 quality management systems and relevant fabrication standards.
- Experience in handling inspection reports, quality documentation, NCRs, and corrective actions.
- Knowledge of measuring instruments such as vernier calipers, micrometers, weld gauges, and measuring tapes.
- Ability to identify defects, reduce rework, and implement preventive measures.
- Good communication and coordination skills with production, fabrication, and project teams.
- Experience in PEB structures, industrial sheds, warehouses, and heavy steel fabrication will be an added advantage. Pay: ₹22,000.00
