Role & responsibilities
- Manage overall QA/QC activities and implement QMS (ISO 9001).
- Ensure quality control across wire drawing, stranding, insulation, cabling, armouring and sheathing processes.
- Ensure compliance with BIS/ISI, IS and IEC standards.
- Handle raw material, in-process and finished product inspection and testing.
- Manage customer complaints, RCA, CAPA and 8D analysis.
- Conduct internal, external, supplier and customer audits.
- Drive rejection reduction, process improvement and zero-defect initiatives.
- Lead and develop the quality team. Preferred candidate profile
- Strong knowledge of wire and cable manufacturing processes.
- Hands-on experience in electrical and mechanical cable testing.
- Knowledge of BIS certification, ISO 9001 and quality tools.
- Solid leadership and problem-solving skills.
