Android Developer

Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Android Developer to design, develop, and maintain high-quality mobile applications for Android platforms. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Kotlin/Java, Android SDK, Jetpack Components, API integration, and modern Android architecture patterns.

Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and deploy Android applications.
- Build scalable, maintainable, and high-performance mobile solutions.
- Develop reusable and modular code following coding standards.
- Integrate RESTful APIs and third-party services.
- Collaborate with UI/UX designers, Product Managers, QA teams, and Backend Developers.
- Optimize applications for maximum speed, scalability, and reliability.
- Troubleshoot and resolve application defects and production issues.
- Participate in code reviews and technical discussions.
- Ensure application security, data privacy, and best coding practices.
- Publish and maintain applications on the Google Play Store.
- Work within Agile/Scrum teams and contribute to sprint planning and releases. Required Skills Technical Skills
- Solid proficiency in Kotlin and/or Java.




- Hands-on experience with Android SDK and Android Studio.
- Experience with Jetpack Components (ViewModel, LiveData, Navigation, Room).
- Strong understanding of MVVM, MVC, or Clean Architecture.
- Experience integrating REST APIs and handling JSON data.
- Knowledge of SQLite, Room Database, and local storage solutions.
- Familiarity with Material Design Guidelines.
- Experience with Git version control.
- Understanding of mobile application lifecycle, threading, and performance optimization.
- Experience with Google Play Store deployment and release management. Preferred Skills
- Experience with Jetpack Compose.
- Familiarity with Firebase (Crashlytics, Analytics, Push Notifications).
- Knowledge of Coroutines, Flow, Dependency Injection (Dagger/Hilt/Koin).
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines.
- Exposure to GraphQL.
- Knowledge of AWS or Azure Cloud Services.
- Experience with app security and authentication mechanisms (OAuth, JWT). Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
