Job Description
We are looking for a responsible, patient, caring, and experienced tutor and caretaker to assist a Grade 8 girl with her studies, homework, daily routine, and overall well-being. The candidate should be capable of explaining school subjects, helping with assignments, and creating a protected, supportive, and disciplined learning environment.

Key Responsibilities

* Assist the student with Grade 8 subjects, including English, Mathematics, Science, and Social Studies.
* Help with daily homework, school assignments, revision, and examination preparation.
* Explain difficult concepts and develop effective study habits.
* Monitor academic progress and maintain regular communication with parents.
* Supervise the student’s daily routine, including study time, meals, and other age-appropriate activities.
* Provide guidance, encouragement, and emotional support.




* Ensure the student’s safety, comfort, and well-being.
* Maintain a clean, organised, and positive study environment.
* Coordinate with schoolteachers or parents when necessary. Required Qualifications and Skills
* Graduate or postgraduate qualification; teaching qualifications are an advantage.
* Strong command of English and Mathematics, along with the ability to teach other Grade 8 subjects.
* Previous experience teaching schoolchildren or working as a private tutor.
* Patient, trustworthy, punctual, and well-organised.
* Good communication skills and a child-friendly approach.
* Ability to balance academic tutoring with responsible caregiving.
* Willingness to undergo identity and reference verification. Preferred Candidate A candidate with teaching experience, a caring nature, strong academic knowledge, and the ability to support the student’s educational and personal development.
