Junior Backend & Data Developer

About the role
You'll join our Backend, Data & ML team and support API development, database work, integrations and data tasks under the guidance of senior teammates.

What you'll do

- Build and maintain backend APIs and services.
- Write database queries, migrations and data scripts.
- Support third-party and internal integrations.
- Help with data processing and cleaning tasks.
- Fix bugs, write tests and document your work. What we're looking for
- 1-3 years of backend experience (internships and strong projects count).
- Working knowledge of Django and SQL.
- Understanding of REST APIs, databases and Git.
- Interest in data engineering and ML.
- Transparent communication and willingness to learn.
- Experience working with AI tools for development such as Claude and Cursor Note: You don't need to be full stack. A solid backend foundation and the ability to work with frontend and mobile teammates is what we're after. Nice to have
- Python and basic data tools (for example pandas).
- Exposure to cloud platforms or Docker.
