>Perform signal integrity (SI) and power integrity (PI) analysis for high-speed digital interfaces (e.g., PCIe, DDR, Ethernet, USB, SAS/SATA, etc.) using simulation tools. >Collaborate with hardware and PCB layout engineers to optimize design for signal integrity, including stack-up definition, trace routing, via design, and connector selection. >Generate simulation models and perform pre
- and post-layout simulations to identify and address potential SI/PI issues. >Define and review PCB design rules and guidelines to ensure compliance with HPE and industry standards. >Develop test plans and perform SI/PI lab measurements and validation using oscilloscopes, VNAs, TDRs, and other high-speed measurement equipment. >Troubleshoot and resolve SI/PI issues during product development and validation phases. >Document analysis results, design guidelines, and best practices; communicate findings and recommendations to cross-functional teams.
>Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies related to signal integrity, power integrity, and high-speed design. Qualifications Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field. Typically 2-7 years experience. Solid understanding of high-speed digital design concepts, transmission line theory, and electromagnetic fundamentals. Hands-on experience with SI/PI simulation tools (e.g., Keysight ADS, Cadence Sigrity, Ansys HFSS, Mentor HyperLynx, etc.). Experience with high-speed measurement instruments (oscilloscopes, TDR, VNA, etc.). Experience in PCB design and layout is a plus. Robust analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Experience in server, storage, or networking hardware design is desirable.
